Landing Page UX/UI: Wondernext
This is a case study of the UX/UI design for Wondernest, an e-commerce platform for Waldorf-inspired toys. The goal was to create a digital experience that reflects the brand’s core values: simplicity, natural aesthetics, and thoughtful craftsmanship. This project showcases my ability to translate a brand’s philosophy into a clean, intuitive, and user-friendly website, serving as a key piece in my creative portfolio.
My Design Process
My approach to this project was focused on creating a design that truly connected with the user.
- Understanding the User: I started by researching similar toy shops and creating a user persona, “Mindful Maria,” a parent who values sustainable and educational toys. This helped me understand what she looks for in an online store, guiding all my design choices.
- Structuring the Content: I created simple wireframes to plan the page layout. My main goal was to keep the design spacious and uncluttered, ensuring that the user could easily find what they needed without feeling overwhelmed.
- Crafting the Visuals: I developed a style guide using a warm, earthy color palette and classic typography. The final design features lots of white space and beautiful, high-quality photos. I built a clickable prototype to ensure the user journey was smooth and intuitive from start to finish.
The Final Outcome
The final design for the Wondernest landing page is a clean, inviting, and highly functional website. It successfully translates the brand’s mission and the gentle ethos of Waldorf-inspired play into a captivating digital experience. The harmonious blend of elegant typography, rich imagery, and clear navigation creates a space that feels both beautiful and reassuring. The design is simple, intuitive, and trustworthy, effectively positioning Wondernest as a premier destination for parents seeking timeless, quality toys that inspire a deeper, more imaginative form of natural play.
